We are often in the area and like to eat in the Schnitzelschmiede, but it depends on who is cooking. Last Thursday the food was unfortunately cold and somehow very bland. Then on the Sunday before the lockdown we were there again for a preliminary farewell dinner and what can I say, the schnitzel was perfect, very tasty and above all hot. The staff was very nice and competent. We'd love to come back and maybe the cook from Sunday will be there too.

A large selection of super schnitzel, including daily specials - moderate prices and very tasty. A nice gesture is the 10% voucher when you come back or visit one of the 2 other schnitzel forges. Staff very nice - keep it up!

Hospitality is the art of getting your guests to stay and not making them leave. So if you value hospitality, you are unfortunately not in good hands here. We reserved a table for 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m. we were served the food and 8:30 p.m. when clearing the plates we were told that it was the last chance to order something because the restaurant was over Closes at 9:00 p.m. We have never seen anything like it! Especially in times of "Corona" you should be happy about every guest. We won't eat here anymore !!!

We were on our way to Berlin, felt hungry so we came here accidentally, since we didn't want to eat in McDonalds or similair. The food and the atmosphere is great. We had Schnitzel a la Felix and Rosemarin Steak both with Salzkartoffeln and both very delicious. Portion is also big enough and prices are more than reasonable. I would come here again.

I was here in the Schnitzelschmiede for the first time today and it was very nice. The decor is a matter of taste, but the staff and especially the food is awesome. The menu says above all pork schnitzel, but of course you also get the same as chicken or vegetarian schnitzel with side dishes. The dishes are super large and absolutely cheap. We'll definitely be back😍

If you love schnitzel, you've come to the right place. There is a very good selection of really tasty schnitzel. The in-house lemonades, which are really very refreshing in summer, are also recommended. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. Should we ever be in Weißenfels again, we'll be here again.

It was a very warm evening. The drinks orders were very slow, the waitress was very friendly but totally overwhelmed. Food was okay, but sometimes only warm.

The food was okay. The fries could have been a little crispier for my taste. The cocktails were delicious and the waitress super nice.

The schnitzel was tasteless, as was the french fries. The salad wasn't fresh, it was a ready-made salad as you can buy it in Rewe or other supermarkets. The chicken breast was pale and tasteless. Without drinks (outside the house) we paid almost 40 euros for 2x schnitzel with french fries and two salads with chicken breast. Clearly too much for this inferior quality. However, the service was very good

The spices were missing ... Peas lacked everything Very also saved with salt and pepper. I would have been happy if it had been on the table for seasoning

We were in transit here and I can only say: it was worth stopping a few meters away from the rest areas and eating in the schnitzel smithy. The ambience alone is very inviting, the outside and inside very nice and cozy arranged and arranged. Staff was very friendly and the order was taken quickly. The schnitzel (we had 2 x pork and 1 x vegetarian) were delicious, the side dishes too. Be sure to plan a stop when you're around.

Schnitzels start at 8.50€ for Wiener, but they aren't something you would write home about. Not exactly bad either. Fried potatoes are above average. All in all it's ok.
